Llywelyn ap Gruffydd<\/p><\/div>\n

The next History Group meeting will be held on Thursday 16th November at 7pm at Capel Peniel as usual. Mrs Heulwen Bott who is a member of our History Group will give a talk entitled ‘The Lost Children of Llywelyn ap Gruffydd’ and will relate the significantly important story of Abergwyngregyn in Welsh history. Heulwen has done a considerable amount of research into this subject.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Cyfarfod Cyffredinol Blynyddol<\/p>\n

Her talk will be preceded by the Group’s AGM (approx. 20 minutes) and an agenda for that meeting is attached below.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Our Annual Open Day will be held at Peniel Chapel between 10am, and 3pm on Saturday 2nd December. The theme this year will be about aspects of life in the village down the years – Deganwy Youth; Deganwy Personalities; Deganwy and the 1st World War; Deganwy Through the Seasons. We are hugely indebted to Adrian for his\u00a0 work in preparing this Exhibition.Father Christmas will be arriving at about 1pm, so there will be a warm welcome for children and adults.\u00a0Free admission.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

As a History Group, we receive the following interesting publications which are available for you: ‘The Local Historian’ and ‘Local History News’. Just ask a Committee member if you are interested<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n

A report of the Group’s last meeting when David Williams gave a talk about Llandudno Junction in the 1950’s is available bilingually on the Group’s website – www.deganwyhistory.co.uk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
