Mae Adrian yn adnabyddus fel hanesydd, awdur a pherchennog Amgueddfa\u2019r Ffrynt Cartref yn Llandudno, a hefyd am ei ymdrechion ar ran Ap\u00eal Pabi\u2019r Lleng Brydeinig Frenhinol, Comisiwn Beddau Rhyfel y Gymanwlad, a\u2019i ymdrechion preifat i anrhydeddu beddau\u2019r rhai a fu farw yn Llandudno, yn fwyaf diweddar ar ymweliad \u00e2 Myanmar (Burma gynt). Llyfr diweddaraf Adrian yw Quirky Llandudno, ac roedd ei sgwrs yn sicr yn cyfiawnhau\u2019r teitl.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dechreuodd y noson gyda golwg ar rai o drigolion mwyaf aflonyddgar Llandudno: y geifr Cashmiraidd, a ddenodd sylw rhyngwladol yn ystod eu meddiannaeth clo o\u2019r dref, a\u2019r gwylanod penwaig, troseddwyr \u2018y lunge hambwrdd sglodion, y plymio hufen i\u00e2 a\u2019r lladrad rholiau selsig\u2019. Siaradodd Adrian \u00e2 ni am darddiad dadleuol y geifr ar yr Orme, yn ogystal \u00e2\u2019r dirywiad enfawr ym mhoblogaeth y gwylanod \u2013 er bod hyn yn ymddangos yn syndod i\u2019w dioddefwyr \u2013 a thrafododd yr honiad bod gwylanod penwaig wedi mynd yn fwy dros y blynyddoedd (rhybudd difetha: dydyn nhw ddim wedi). Roedd anifeiliaid yn ymddangos mewn straeon eraill yn ystod y noson, fel darganfod yr hyn a ddaeth yn Fwynglawdd Copr T\u0177 Gwyn gan fuwch, a chyflawniadau Smiler, yr asyn seren o ddiwedd y 19eg ganrif, a allai neidio gi\u00e2t pum bar, tanio pistol, agor cloeon a cherdded rhaff dynn.<\/p>\n<p>Dros y blynyddoedd mae Llandudno wedi cynnal sawl amgueddfa nad ydynt gyda ni mwyach, gan gynnwys yr Amgueddfa Gerddoreg, Amgueddfa Rheilffordd Doliau a Modelau Llandudno ac Amgueddfa Beiciau Modur Llandudno. Mae&#8217;r rhai sydd wedi gwrthsefyll prawf amser yn cynnwys amgueddfa ddinesig y dref, sydd bellach ar Stryd Gloddaeth, ac wrth gwrs y Ffrynt Cartref, a agorwyd gan ein siaradwr yn 2000 mewn cyn-garej ar Stryd Newydd. Ar y nodyn hwnnw, ni fyddai unrhyw sgwrs gan Adrian yn gyflawn heb o leiaf rywfaint o hanes milwrol, ac roeddem wedi ein swyno i glywed stori Russell Gradwell a&#8217;i anturiaethau anhygoel yn ystod yr Ail Ryfel Byd.<\/p>\n<p>Roedd pynciau eraill yn cynnwys bigami, y Beatles, cerrig ffin plwyf, y stori y tu \u00f4l i&#8217;r arwydd goleuedig &#8216;Llandudno Welcomes You&#8217;, cyflenwad d\u0175r y dref (gyda llaw yn cynnwys Duke, asyn arall, er yn llai cynnar na Smiler), a dathliadau Diwrnod yr Arwisgo ysblennydd 1911 a ddaeth i ben mewn trychineb gyda marwolaeth dau weithiwr cyngor.
